Wedding Celebrations, Elopements and Special Party Events

The Baldpate Inn offers a unique setting for mountain entertaining. Comfortable elegance is our hospitality hallmark. Our Inn is the perfect size to provide celebration parties for most groups up to 100 guests and bed & breakfast accommodations for groups up to 50 guests.
As a family operated country inn, we can often readily adjust to your special needs or creative ideas. We would be delighted to meet with you in person to help plan your reception, rehearsal dinner, anniversary party or orther special event. Whether you need a rehearsal dinner, ceremony location, a reception dining room, a place for dancing, or lodging for you or your guests, we have numerous options available. A room fee is assessed for each of these options and the price details are listed in our wedding packet.
Our Wedding Event Packages Include:

Rehearsal Dinners or Wedding Receptions: Our cozy Main Dining Room, which can accommodate 65 guests, has the feel of log & lace, a mountain hunting lodge with its classic stone fireplace, antique hickory chairs, and views of the surrounding forest. Our dramatic Sunporch Dining Room, which can accommodate 35 guests, has the most spectacular overlook view of the Estes Valley you could imagine anywhere. Together the two rooms may be adjoined by opening the French doors and can then accommodate 100 guests.
One or both of the dining rooms may be rented for your event. Options are available for your celebration dining between 2 PM and 5 PM or 8 PM and 10 PM. Our Baldpate Event Planning Floorplans will give you the Dining Rooms seating charts and SunDeck dimensions for planning. We offer a served dinner or a buffet dinner as well as a hosted bar, cash bar or combination.
Menu: Wedding & Event Dining Packages are provided and will give you an idea of what we traditionally offer. Please do not hesitate to ask if there is something you would like that is not listed. Our chef’s Hor d’oeuvre, Soup, Salad, Entrée and Dessert menus are available upon request. All food and beverages must be catered by The Baldpate Inn. The bride and groom will select an outside caterer for the wedding cake.
Ceremony: For a delightful outdoor location for your ceremony we can offer our Front Porch for smaller weddings, and for larger weddings up to 100 guests we recommend our Sundeck. Other options include area chapels or Rocky Mountain National Park. RMNP’s Lily Lake is only a short walk from the Inn.
Dancing: Our Sundeck is available for dancing after dinner. This outdoor setting provides a rustic mountain atmosphere with a stone fireplace just perfect for cooler evenings. Dancing may continue until midnight if the entire lodge and cabins are booked by the wedding. Otherwise, 10:30 PM is the beginning of quiet hours.
Out of Town Guests: The entire lodge, which sleeps 28 guests in its 12 guest rooms, rents for $1700 per night with a two-night minimum stay and a 90-day cancellation policy. An additional 16 guests can be accommodated in our four cabins and one homestead starting at $230 per cabin per night with a two-night minimum stay and a 90-day cancellation policy. A three-course breakfast is included for each guest in the morning and bedtime snacks are provided in the evening. Complimentary beverages are offered throughout the day. For your health we remind you that The Baldpate Inn is a non-smoking facility.
Dining Room: The Inn’s restaurant is open to the public from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM daily. We specialize in a Soup & Salad Buffet with homemade Breads, Muffins and Pies for our dining guests. A beer and wine list is also available.
Deposits: The initial booking deposit would be the Lodging per night or Party Room cost and is not fully refundable. Two weeks prior to the event, 50% of the food cost is due with the final guest count and guest room assignments. An 18% Gratuity will be added to the final billing. Full payment is due on the party date. Our tax rate is 5.9.%.
Cancellation Policy: Should a cancellation be necessary more than 90 days prior to the event, a 10% cancellation fee will be withheld from your booking deposit. Less than 90 days prior to your event, your deposit will be forfeited.
